2022-2023 Learn To Play Hockey

The Greater Haverhill Pentucket Youth Hockey organization is excited to announce our new program, Learn to Play Hockey. This is an in-house hockey program for kids ages 4-10.  

When: December 3rd - February 18th. This 10 Week Learn to play hockey program occurs every Saturday from 11am-11:50am at Veteran's Memorial skating rink in Haverhill (behind the Haverhill High School). We will not have sessions on 12/24 or 12/31.

What is it: This is an in-house hockey program for kids ages 4-10.  This program is for kids who have already started skating and looking to start learning the game of hockey in a cross ice game environment. We will look to have a fun / supervised program.  We will be teaching skating and hockey skills as well as having a cross ice game each week.  This program is also a bridge program for kids who are thinking of playing travel hockey the following year. You will be coached by our USA Hockey certified coaching staff. 

Sessions will take place on Saturdays from 11am-11:50am

How Much?: $350 if you need equipment. $150 if you do not need equipment

Who can play: This is an in-house hockey program for kids ages 4-10. Kids must not be currently playing in an organized hockey program.  Children should have successfully passed a learn to skate program and should be able to, skate on their own, get up off the ice without assistance and have a desire to participate. 

What do I need: As part of the program, TSR Hockey will be providing full equipment to all participants. This is included in the tuition. A fitting date/time will be sent out after successful payment. You will go to TSR Hockey at 5 Kelly Rd. Salem, NH to pick up your equipment before the first session.  

(The price is the same if you don't need some/all of the equipment).

Shin Guards

Hockey Pants

Shoulder Pads

Elbow Pads



You will need to provide: Face covering mask, and a Jock.

**Please note that this program can only proceed if we meet a minimum number of participants. Please share with friends and family who may have other kids interested in playing hockey.
